HOMINY FRIENDS MEETING

An Osage-Quaker Partnership Since 1908

Hominy Friends Meeting is part of Great Plains Yearly Meeting and Friends United Meeting. Our official name is Hominy Monthly Meeting of the Religious Society of Friends.  “Friends” and “Quakers” are historically synonymous terms and we gladly embrace both. Locally we are often referred to as the “Friends Church” and “Friends Indian Church.”

We are intentionally a predominately Native American fellowship with an Osage emphasis. Our meetinghouse is located in the northwest corner of Hominy Indian Village (un-allotted Osage land) adjacent to the City of Hominy, Oklahoma.  As a welcoming fellowship we invite everyone to worship with us.
